About Samuel D. Clapper
Overview & Experience
Samuel graduated summa cum laude from Susquehanna University in 1968 and cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School in 1971. In law school, he was an associate editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society. Samuel completed a judicial clerkship with Judge (later U.S. Supreme Court Justice) John Paul Stevens of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit in 1972.
His areas of practice include general practice, municipal law, school law, trusts and estates, real estate, and public sector labor and employment law. Samuel is also a proud member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 3rd and 7th Circuits, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania and Somerset County Bar Associations.
